Learn From Your Neighbor with Doug & Sharla: Animal Balloon Making

For December's Learn From Your Neighbor event, we will be featuring Doug & Sharla Bengston, who are members of The Lighterside Clowns, in business since 1997. They have been doing parades all over Southwest Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin. Doug and Sharla will be teaching animal balloon twisting. Balloon twisting is an art, open to being a hobby or a business!

This free class is open to adults and kids five years old and up!! You will be learning how to twist basic balloon animals such as dogs, giraffes, cats, T-Rex, etc.. Balloons will be provided. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
