The YES! House will be hosting our second annual Mother's Day Indoor Vendor Market on Saturday, May 11th from 10AM-2PM! We will have numerous local makers selling their goods on this fun shopping day in downtown Granite Falls! Tasty appetizers and refreshments will be available.

During the Market, there will be two screenings of "Mothering Creativity: Defining Maternal Art” a documentary film by Tyler Gastecki! The Film features Catherine Reinhart, one of The YES! House visiting artists from last year who performed "Bundles & Burdens", a durational performance where she methodically wraps bundles of her son’s hair. This somber performance marks the passage of time, invisible labor, and small accumulations of loss that gather in the maternal experience.
