Nicole Brenny’s “Flow State: a multidimensional art experience”

Saturday, May 18th | 6-9PM
@ The YES! House
726 Prentice St, Granite Falls, MN

Flow State: a multidimensional art experience” Beginning at 6PM there will be a happy hour and time to peruse through all of her art pieces. The artwork includes abstract pieces drawn with marker on paper as well as digital designs printed on paper. Prints and clothing items of the artwork will be available for purchase. All of the art at this event was created while Nicole was in a deep state of flow. This event is multidimensional so there will be music playing as well that Nicole has composed specifically for this event.

At 7PM she will be showing 2 short films that she has created. One of the films she will be showing is "A Failure at Music" which explores the concept of childhood dreams and if we should allow them to fade with our youth. "Solitude to Inner Peace" will also be shown, a short film that explores the theme of solitude and the great gift it can bring. The screening will be followed up by her Artist talk where she will share all about her creative process with you all with a Q&A! Alcoholic & N/A beverages and appetizers will be provided.

Artist Bio:
Nicole Brenny is a multidisciplinary artist living in the prairie. She explores sharing her voice through music, filmmaking, DJing, electronic music production, visual arts, gardening & homemaking. She believes that art in its highest form can serve as a physical manifestation of what is within. So her artistic journey has been one of deep inner refinement to instill within all that can be thought of as true, good and beautiful. May peace prevail.

This activity is part of Department of Public Transformation’s River Valley Ripple Artist Residency Program at The YES! House, made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
