River Valley Ripple Artist in Residence Sierra Kallio, will be hosting her Artist Salon "Residency Retrospective: Puppet Palooza" at The YES! House on Saturday, March 15th at 5:30 PM!

Join us for a retrospective of Sierra's work and to craft your paper puppets from recyclable materials! No strings attached!

This event is free and open to the public with complimentary appetizers and refreshments.

Sierra Kallio is an emerging artist from Kandiyohi County. She earned her degree in studio art from UMM, Morris. The work bridges between sculpture,painting, and bookmaking. With an emphasis on viewer interaction and recyclable materials, her work takes the form of faux advertisements, surreal objects, and functional props.

This RVR Artist Residency is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southwest Minnesota Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
