The YES! House is committed to being a Safe Space.
The YES! House stands with the LGBTQ2IA+ community—today and always.

We believe in intentional, intergenerational opportunities for all. We lift up women, non-binary people, people of color, LGBTQ2IA+, New American, Native and Indigenous community members to work towards equal representation in artistic and civic leadership.
At The YES! House, we believe that art is a powerful tool for expression, connection, and change. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming, and affirming environment for LGBTQ2IA+ artists, audiences, and community members.
We recognize that systemic barriers have historically excluded and marginalized LGBTQ2IA+ voices, and we actively work to dismantle these barriers through our programming, policies, and partnerships. We celebrate diversity in all its forms and are dedicated to creating spaces where people of all gender identities, expressions, and sexual orientations feel seen, heard, and valued.
LGBTQ2IA+ includes people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, Two-Spirit, intersex, asexual, and more. These terms reflect many ways people experience gender and sexuality, in addition to cisgender and heterosexuality.
Our commitment to inclusivity means:
Showcasing and uplifting LGBTQ2IA+ artists and stories.
Providing equitable opportunities and resources for LGBTQ2IA+ creatives.
Ensuring our spaces—both physical and virtual—are safe, accessible, and affirming for all.
Engaging in ongoing education and dialogue to support and advocate for LGBTQ2IA+ rights in the arts.
Inviting our community to join us in building a future where creativity thrives free from discrimination, and where the arts truly reflect the richness of human experience.
